About HARTRON Skill Centre Kharkhoda
HARTRON was established to provide technological solutions for industry, academia, administration, and governance in Haryana. Initially, its focus was on R&D for small scale industries and providing testing and calibration services. Over time, HARTRON expanded its role, executing major projects like Elector Photo Identity Cards (EPIC) and providing IT-enabled services, including government record digitization and IT infrastructure upgrades.
From 2000 to 2010, HARTRON became the nodal agency for numerous state projects aimed at building a transparent and accountable government, such as the State Wide Area Network (SWAN), Citizen Service Centres (CSC), and Modern Revenue Record Rooms (MRRR).
HARTRON has been a key player in national programs like 'Skill India' and 'Digital India,' with initiatives like the NASSCOM Startup Warehouse, mobile application development centers, and the Centre of Excellence for Internet of Things (IoT).
